2-stroke LSE valve spindles and valve seats reconditioning
Reneko AS offers valve spindles and seats reconditioning service. We are using OEM technology of working layer rebuilding - PTA cladding. PTA process offers the excellent and guaranteed quality. For Valve disc rebuilding a special adjusted synergetic MIG process is used. Both processes are fully automatized.
PTA process advantages:
- High layer density (density prevents fast valve spindles burnings)
- Low dilution, more than 95% of pure metal in the first layer (dilution has very poor influence on working layer quality).
We are using Stellite and Inconel material series for valve spindles working layers.
- Stellite valve spindles reconditioning (SNCRW + Stellite)
For 2-stroke valve spindles reconditioning is performed as follows: Old stellite layer complete removal, spindle disc building-up from both sides by heat-resistant stainless material or Ni-based superalloy (option), PTA cladding of new Stellite layer, machining of valve spindle as per drawing.
- Nimonic valve spindles reconditioning
Valve spindles made of Nimonic alloy are reconditioned by welding of the valve disc from both sides by Inconel –series material, restoring initial geometry.
- Valve spindle steam reconditioning
Valve spindle steam is usually weared in place of bush. We are using chrome plating and thermospray methods to restore initial steam size.
- Valve seats reconditioning
Valve seats reconditioning is also executed using PTA cladding process. Working layer – Stellite. In some cases new valve seat can be manufactured instead of worn-out.
