Reneko AS sees its main task in piston crowns reconditioning - to reach the working resource of reconditioned spares, equal or higher than new mades.

Piston crowns geometry rebuilding requires a very special know-how. High-quality is reached by controllable welding processes, as per Class-approved WPS and full automatization. On each reconditioning stage, modern NDT examination methods apply to receive a large-scale idea of builded layer structure, especially of internal defects lack.

AS Reneko is using the technology, which allow to receive a  very hard and wear resistant layer on the piston grooves, hardness of about 1100 HV, on the deep up to 0,4 mm. The layer on piston grooves is extremly hard and furthermore it has low friction ability, it guarantees very good wear-resistance during the operation cycle.
