Reneko made 4 pcs Yanmar 6N260L-SN cylinder covers Reconditioning.
At first cylinder covers were Ultrasonic cleaned, visually and geometrically inspected.
The problem was in exhaust valve seat pockets – corrosion wear out of tolerance with following leak through the seats.
Exhaust valve seat pockets were reconditioned to original size, plated by corrosion resistant Ni-alloy.
Cylinder covers were assembled, pressure tested, painted and delivered back to the Customer.
