Description of work

Repair of CPP blades, damaged by ground impact, was done in Halsnøy Shipyard by Reneko voyage team, under supervision of DNV Class.
Propeller blades were dismantled and delivered to Shipyard workshop. Reneko team made straightening to right geometry and welding repair in order to rebuild missing areas. After that blades were final machined, weights were adjusted, normal polishing was done. Repair was accepted by Class in full, with no remarks. Repair has taken 1 Week in total.

After sale

Blades were installed back to the Ship at the end of repair.
We had a chance to monitor the blades few years after repair, during Ship next planned DD, in Tallinn. No problems has been observed.
