Reneko made MAK43C cylinder cover Reconditioning.

Customer defined two NO-GO problems
– sealing belt behind landing collar is partially destroyed in operation.
– valve guide bore had damage on the surface
Reneko made Ultrasonic cleaning, visual and geometrical inspection and found one another problem: exhaust seat pocket “C” upper sealing diameter is also partially destroyed by corrosion (deep groove abt 3 mm in depth)

Sealing belt behind landing collar: Corroded area was machined-off. Belt was rebuilded to original size.
Exhaust valve pocket upper sealing diameter: Corroded area repaired, cladded by corrosion resistant Ni-alloy.
Both exhaust pockets were machined to 1-st oversize to improve the quality of the pockets.
Valve guide bore was machined to oversize with OZ valve guide installation.
