Description of work

Propeller was damaged by ice with 2 blades bent under app. 90 degrees.
Reneko voyage team performed propeller repair in Shipyard workshop.
NEW tips, 2 pcs, CAD modelled upon 2D drawing, casted in Cu3 alloy were prepared.
Repair was done under supervision of RINA Class.
Repair was made inclusive: Post Weld Heat Treatment, post-repair geometry and pitch measurements, propeller balancing, penetrant test.

After sale

Propeller was installed back to the Ship at the end of repair.
Test run has shown good results.
At present (article date) moment the propeller is in operation 2.5 years. No known problems.
